Kefi Spitia

Kefi Spitia is a newly built villa with guest house option, 800m away from Lourdas beach, in the south west of Kefalonia, Ionian Island, Greece.

Nested on a hilltop among olive groves, this complex of newly built houses has both fantastic sea and mountain views (Mount Ainos). Its secluded location, not far from the beach, creates a strong sense of tranquility. A small organic vegetable garden provides fresh sunbathed cherry tomatoes, zucchini and peppers to our guests.

Margaux and Emmanuel designed and decorated their villas, mixing contemporary, cycladic and kefalonian styles. The smallest details have been carefully considered and only high-quality materials have been chosen to help make your stay comfortable and cosy.

The property is divided in 3 houses. In order to enjoy the views, each room has its own private terrace:

• One main house with a large pergola, set up as a dining area with a sitting area to enjoy the view and sunsets, a fully equipped kitchen (only available when the house is privatized, as we use it to prepare the breakfasts in the guesthouse set up),  a living room, a TV room with a library. There are 3 double bedrooms with very large terraces, two bathrooms and 1 dormitory for 4 children, that are available when the house is privatized.
• One house with 4 rooms for 2 or 3 guests (2 adults and one child, or 3 adults)
• One house with 3 rooms for 2 guests.
• One infinity pool (17 x 8 m) with a large 280sqm terrace and a pool bar

Below the pool, there is a fully equipped external kitchen with a dining area and a BBQ.

A large sanded area was created recently, where you can play badmington, beach soccer, beach volley, and have yoga sessions under the covered area with the most amazing view on Lourdas bay.

Privatization :

The property can be privatized completely for special occasions (weddings, family or friends holidays…) with a self catering option.

Guest House :

Rooms can also  be booked individualy throuhout the season when the villa is not privatized. Breakfast is then prepared on a daily basis.

Margaux and Emmanuel built this house to welcome guests as if they were friends or family.

We settled on Kefalonia for a new life experience and encounter new people, pamper them during their holidays on this amazing island.

Margaux bakes the breads, cakes and taste full morning treats. We make all the jams with local fruits.

We speak French, Dutch, English, German, a bit of Italian and Spanish. We are learning Greek on a daily basis.

This unique location has been preserved and the houses have been integrated in the landscape.

“Kefi” is a special Greek state of mind, a moment of intense joy that you will remember eternally. It’s tiredness that changes into a smile, a danse, a song. It is an Ouzo, turquoise waters, meeting new people. It is Greek and it is divine.
